Looking great in Cumberland Green with a Snowberry White roof, this Hornet Mk2 is a rare thing and presents nicely.
There are lots of bills on file for work undertaken over the years back to the 1990s. Although there are no receipts for recent work, we understand from the vendor that he has recently fitted four new tyres, a new battery, and new clutch slave and master cylinder.
There are also previous MOT certificates on file which would seem to back up the present mileage showing.
The paintwork is bright although there are some localised rust patches. The interior is clean and tidy and features a full width oak dashboard, magic wand wooden gear knob and wood rimmed steering wheel.
There are a couple of summaries about the car in the file as well, written by previous owners, which are a nice touch and indicate to some extent that this little car has been loved during its life.
The original engine would appear to have been replaced with a later 70s Mini 998cc unit looking at the engine tag present.
Overall, a tidy and usable classic that can be improved over time or used as is.
