Owned by our 86 year old vendor since 2006 and only for sale due to the imminent arrival of another Riley ‑ this one with easier access and weather protection!

Built in the 1950's on a 1930 Monaco chassis, shortened to Brooklands dimensions. Fitted with a fabric and polished aluminium body, detachable aluminium under tray, painted steel cycle wings and Blockley tyres all round. The Riley has a long history of racing, sprints and hill climbs with the VSCC including 1st Vintage at Elvington Sprint in two classes in 2004.
A full race engine was fitted in 1988. Recent work includes a new differential and close ratio gearbox rebuild, both by Blue Diamond, a rewire, repaint etc. A rebore is described as being not essential but would complete the work. This VSCC registered car is road legal and great fun to drive.
