The bodywork is virtually unmarked and entirely correct, even down to the rudimentary spot welds still visible from the factory, exactly as they always have been. INTERIOR
Built for a tough life yet far more to hand than just the essentials! Based on the high specification XS Defender, Overfinch Master Trimmers have upholstered the seats and interior trim in Charcoal leather with contrasting ivory piping, (Code T). The upgraded heated Recaro front seats look and feel amazing and are in perfect condition. Various dashboard and fascia revisions include the leather Overfinch steering wheel and special instrument pack with Overfinch branding reminding the driver how special this example is. Luxury Overfinch carpet mats throughout are all in excellent order. To drive a defender offers the feeling of indestructability and an ability to take on the world, and this example firmly upholds that belief.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The Defender Overfinch’s 2.2 litre turbocharged unit with engine chip and intercooler upgrade offers 134bhp, a 12bhp increase over standard, and plenty of low-end torque at 360Nm at 2000rpm. Crucially the impressive off-road credentials to include a maximum gradient climb of 45 degrees, minimum ground clearance 323mm and a wading depth of 500mm, this incredible machine is unsurpassed in its capabilities. As you would expect from such low mileage, the engine bay is pristine and displays factory plates, stickers and even coloured PDI dots! The ultra-strong six speed gearbox is assuring and sturdy in operation but not to the extent of being difficult. A real ‘go anywhere’ machine.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Special 18in Apollo alloy wheels are finished in stunning Titanium and are immaculate, although the centre caps have slight aging evident. Quality BF Goodrich all terrain tyres of size LT265/65 R18 have masses of tread remaining and the spare tyre mounted to the rear door is unused with coloured banding still visible. Safety assurance is optimum with Anti-Lock Braking (ABS), Electronic Traction Control (ETC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).

HISTORY FILE
