1955 Land Rover Series 1 107"

This landrover has been meticulously restored with no expense spared. All parts and fittings that could be replaced were during the process. All bolts nuts and washers have been replaced with stainless steel. Bare chassis rebuild without any sign of rust.

This landrover was Rover dealers of Brisbane ( Annad and Thompson ) in 1955 and was used most of its life on large western Queensland properties with very dry conditions. At some stage of its life, the engine and rear axle assembly were changed to a series 2 adding more horsepower and added reliability. These remained with the vehicle during the restoration because the original motor was not obtainable. A concise photographic history was kept during the restoration and these can be sent if requested.
