The UV-resistant hood in factory optional Metropole Blue is excellent in both operation and condition with only very markings and the glass rear screen still displays its Porsche sticker. The genuine Porsche dealer accessory hard top in matching Cobalt Blue metallic cost almost £2,500 as proven by the invoice and is still in very good condition. INTERIOR

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the robust flat six Porsche Boxer Engine, this 3.2 S model develops 248hp from the 3,179cc unit to allow 0-62mph in just 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 161mph! New coloured Porsche crest centre caps are on order as the originals have faded. Premium N rated Bridgestone Potenza S-02A 225/40 ZR18 front and 265/35 ZR18 rear tyres are Porsche Club GB recommended and retain plenty of tread. The original space saver spare wheel has never seen the road. The ABS assisted braking system incorporates 4-Wheel ventilated discs with 4-piston fixed monobloc callipers. Immaculate red Porsche badged callipers are clearly visible through the spokes and hint towards the racing pedigree infused within this car’s genes.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 1st July 2004 by Official Porsche Centre Aberdeen, this example has only covered a warranted 30,746 miles from new. Sold as a Porsche demonstrator for the price of £36,000 when less than one year old with 4,306 miles to Mr Lyford-Smith, this invoice is in the handover pack presented at the time of sale. After ten years of ownership and after much badgering, the car was sold to family friends, Mr and Mrs Causer who have owned and cherished the car ever since. Upon purchasing the car, keen driving enthusiast Husband and Wife were soon booked on a Porsche Driving Experience Day with the presentation pack kept as a memento. Such was their passion for the car, used only sparingly and in dry conditions, it was kept underneath a soft tailored cover, in a Carcoon, in a double garage! Mr and Mrs Causer’s keenness for an automatic vehicle has persuaded a very reluctant sale but one which will certainly benefit the next appreciative owner.
