The aero-dynamic aiding flat underside and wheel arch apertures are immaculate and red epoxy resin used to bond the aluminium at factory is still bright. The V.I.N. stamped in the chassis to the offside front wheel arch area is clearly visible and even fragile jack point labels have survived intact, long lost on most examples! INTERIOR
The VX220 cockpit is developed to assist the driver in every way from the supportive sports seats finished in Black Scottish leather, (Code XXLS), to the Momo leather steering wheel to offer superb grip and feel. The wide inner-sills are in remarkable condition having escaped the usual entry/exit damage and there is a small wear area to the drivers bolster. All controls and gauges work impeccably and the original VX220 carpet mats remain in superb order. All exposed aluminium and accessories such as window winders, gear lever and drilled pedals are bright. Number 57/100 was purchased new from Stevens Vauxhall of Crawley and registered on the 8th June 2002. The previous owner purchased the car in 2005 with just one former keeper prior, and the car has covered a fully warranted 10,427 miles with full Vauxhall Main Dealer service history. There are 20 Vauxhall Main Dealer stamped entries in the original service book, the most recent in August 2022 with less than 500 miles covered since. The previous long-term owner has been ultra-fastidious in his approach to care and maintenance to the extent whereby he kept taking out Vauxhall service plans to ensure servicing was carried out exact to the schedule. The colossal history file illustrates just how meticulous the servicing has been throughout the car’s life. Beautifully presented in chronological order with every service invoice and condition report from Vauxhall as well as all MOT certifictes dating back to the first in 2005.
