EXTERIOR
This amazing example finished in factory original Flame Red, (Code AJ4), is truly worthy of the often overused ‘time warp’ accolade. The paint finish is fantastic with a deep uniform shine and glorious finish commensurate with 12,931 miles covered from new. The bodywork is remarkably clean and the panels seams and underside are in fabulous condition. Preserved trim sections, decals and items such as the original supplying dealer number plates and rear screen sticker remain in place, as does all factory etched glass and Nissan light fitments. Close scrutiny reveals a tiny ding to the nearside front wing and a two touched-in scratches to the offside rear quarter panel and some faint markings to the black plastic bumpers. Hugely nostalgic and virtually impossible to find in this unspoiled state, this is one for the Nissan fanatic!

INTERIOR
To climb inside the interior of this wonderfully kept example can be likened to visiting a Nissan showroom in 1993! The exceptionally low mileage is clearly evident and the interior condition is simply perfect. Grey Woven LX seat trim, (Code G), is as new, as are the colour scheme grey door cards. The needle pile carpets are immaculate having been protected by genuine Nissan Sunny carpet mats. Natural veins to the steering wheel and gear knob reflect the low mileage and even the new car smell has not escaped! The long-term first owner fitted a colour coded lid to the centre storage box to keep personal belongings out of sight and act as an armrest. The boot area is simply immaculate and the thin plywood spare wheel cover is undamaged. The tool roll is present and unused. A wonderfully durable interior from a far simpler motoring era, you are definitely ready for the show scene with this lovely modern classic Sunny.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the incredibly reliable 1392cc GA14DNE four-cylinder DOHC engine developing 87bhp, the engine starts with a flick of the key and is wonderfully smooth and quiet with the instantly recognisable Nissan hum. The spotless engine bay is unspoilt and displays factory plates, stickers and panel stampings. The five speed gearbox is light and has the tight precise feel only found on such low mileage examples.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The standard steel wheels feature the original full wheel covers in very good condition and the branded 155/80 R13 tyres show plenty of tread. The unused Dunlop SP7 spare tyre still displays the coloured banding and chalk marks! The braking system incorporates discs to the front and offers reliable straight-line stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 31st August 1993 and supplied by Nissan Main Dealer, Marn Hanwell Ltd in London, this amazing Sunny LX Flamenco has covered just 12,931 miles from new with two owners. Mr Binks initially for 23 years and Mr Dhillon, a fanatical Nissan collector, since 2016. The original Nissan document wallet holds the service booklet and guides along with Radio Pass Card and dealership point of sale literature. Completing the history file is a folder of previous MOT certificates, two keys with dealer keyring and an original sales brochure. Representing a humble aspect of modern Nissan history, this useable and beautifully preserved classic is without doubt one of the best examples in existence.
