1988 Mini Mayfair 1000

This is a 1988 Austin Mini Mayfair in geranium/white 998cc Auto. The vehicle was purchased brand new from a dealer after part exchanging a previous mini in 1988. Unfortunately this vehicle wasn?t to my Nans taste, and due to ill health she only drove it a handful of times. The vehicle has been very well kept, it has been stored in a garage under blankets away from humidity, heat and environmental factors. The vehicle used to be turned on and driven round the block every so often to make sure it still ran. It was used in 2013/14 for the unveiling of the New Mini at Mini Sytner in Nottingham, where it stood in the showroom alongside the new model. This mini has been very well kept and looked after, it is in impeccable condition with 806 miles on the clock, it still has the new smell inside and all components are original. The vehicle runs and drives, we will not be selling it with an MOT. To do so would mean putting miles on the clock, which we do not wish to do. This is not a Barn find?, it is a cherished vehicle which is looking for another home where the owner will love, cherish and enjoy the British heritage it symbolises. I have all the original receipts and MOT test certificates from the last time it was completed (before it was digital). The price reflects the unadulterated, unique and excellent condition.
