The Honda Integra 1.5 LX (UK-spec) was the first generation, introduced to the UK around 1985 and imported in very small numbers to 1989, these are now extremely rare with the DVLA reporting just 4 on the road and a further 19 on SORN.

Technically advanced, they are the precursor to the Civic/CRX/Intregra performance line; one of the first Honda models with fully independent suspension and the pre-VTEC 1.5L SOHC inline-4 engine gives lightweight, sharp handling.

Finished in Greek White with blue and grey cloth interior, it appears to be in original specification. The original, and complete, bookpack includes the Service Book showing 19 stamps and confirming that car was supplied new to Sir Robert Booth OBE from Solihull on 1/8/1986 by E&S motors of Solihull with a total of 6 former keepers.

The vendor reports that its running & driving very well, with a recent long journey presenting no issues, the automatic gearbox works perfectly, the pop-up headlamps are in good working order and there is no overheating whatsoever.

It presents in good condition and as you’d expect with a near 40 year old car there are areas that require attention/improvement; the vendor reports the following:

· The headlining requires repair.

· Sunroof leaks in heavy rain.

· Passenger sun visor requires repair.

· Rear wheel arches require attention – bubbling showing but not rusted through.

· Front off-side indicator lens has been poorly repaired.

· Hatch struts don’t hold open.

With stylish looks and a very capable engine mated to a smooth auto gearbox, these are fast becoming a desirable, rare and practical classic.
