Offered here is a 1984 Audi 80 Sport (B2) presented in special colour Tornado Red with Marine cloth interior. Interestingly, this example still retains the original Audi Sport decals. On the surface this 80 Sports looks to be largely original, save the SPAX PSX suspension kit, and it has now been fitted with a push button start. The 80 had been designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and his trademark ruler work lent itself well to the Sport’s quietly macho rubber spoiler and deep chin spoiler. The 80 Sports were fitted with a 5-speed gearbox mated to a 1.8-litre fuel injected four-cylinder engine. This example is specified with the optional Audi Sport decals and factory sunroof.

To be expected for a car that is 41 years old, there are a few imperfections and micro blisters on the paintwork. A very useable example that can be used and improved during the coming show season. One thing is for sure, you won’t be parked next to another one, as there are only 90 examples currently known to the DVLA, with the majority SORN.
