We understand that this is one of the last few LEs to be produced, with a build date of October 1980 according to the Heritage Certificate.  It is in very good condition, having been thoroughly restored several years ago to a good standard, including all new three-piece sills, wings etc.  The engine was also restored and has an unleaded head.  The Pewter metallic paintwork is good, the very comfortable interior is black with leather sports seats and good condition door cards, carpets and headlining.  It also has the benefit of a fully opening Webasto sunroof which works very well indeed.  Good matching tyres on excellent, original alloys. The underside of the car is structurally good, and the under bonnet area is original, but nice and tidy.  The car starts easily and runs well, with overdrive on third and fourth gear, all working fine.  Strong oil pressure, no overheating, good performance and handling.  The car comes with a good history file, including photos of the restoration, fresh MOT, Heritage Certificate, handbook and V5C.
