 Mercedes-Benz's R107 SL has a well deserved reputation for outstanding build quality, engineering, styling and reliability and whilst we know there’s no shortage of R107’s on the market, it’s becoming increasingly hard to find examples in this condition.

Finished in silver blue metallic with a blue leather and check cloth interior, a blue convertible roof and a silver blue metallic hard top it’s in remarkable condition all round, with a well documented history of correct maintenance with just 6 former keepers. Evidently dry-stored for many years there is no sign of the dreaded rot, arches and sills present well and are without bubbling and the 14” standard wheels with chrome painted hubcaps are also in wonderful condition.

The 3.8L V8 is on the button, delivering plenty of power under acceleration, a smooth gearbox, sharp brakes and a comfortable ride.

The vendor informs us that it has always been dry-stored in his possession and used on various driving tours around the country. He reports no known faults with all switch gear in good working order, including the vacuum central locking and electric ariel.
