This bright and cheerful classic Mini started life as a humble Mini 1000, and it is now something a little more special!

Fitted with 12 inch alloys, new tyres, a bespoke interior, Cooper S boot badge, and a Union Jack flag on the roof - it cuts quite a dash and pays homage to a true Mini Cooper S - especially with the fitting of a 1275cc engine. Upon checking the engine number, it appears that the engine may be from an MG Metro. Please note that the V5 is still showing the engine as 998cc.

The vendor informs us that the front and rear brakes have been uprated to Cooper S spec, and a new long centre branch exhaust manifold has also been fitted, plus a new battery, new grille and new bumpers. The Mini has also been serviced.

As a consequence of the above upgrades, the Mini goes as well as it looks!

It appears to have had some form of restoration previously. The normal Mini grot spots appear sound, and the paint is shiny and the chrome bright.

The interior is clean and tidy - the after-market seats and steering look the part, as do the fitted floor mats front and rear.

Overall, a great Cooper S tribute at a fraction of the price of an authentic S.
