The Lancia Gamma is an executive car manufactured and marketed by the Lancia subdivision of Fiat. Following its debut at the 1976 Geneva Motor Show as Lancia's new flagship, the Gamma was marketed as 4-door fastback saloon as the Berlina (1976-1984) and as 2-door coupé (1977-1984), both designed by Pininfarina - with 15,272 and 6,790 manufactured, respectively.

This incredibly rare survivor was supplied new to Marston Reid. Serv Ltd by Thurnby Garage, D.R. Wattam Ltd, Leicester. It appears that it did most of its mileage early in its life and was then tucked away and dry stored ever since. Remarkably, this Lancia is still wearing its original paint and has never been welded. The vendor states that the underside is still in superb condition for the vehicle’s age.

There are signs of corrosion on the body and the paint is spidering, however this adds a certain charm to this Lancia. The original red cloth interior is superb and simply belies the age and mileage of the vehicle. Mechanically, it does need recommissioning. Although it does start, run, and drive, it is pulling fuel through a container under the bonnet and not through the fuel tank and the choke is currently permanently on. This really is a superb opportunity a purchase an extremely rare, quirky Italian classic. Go and find another!
