1972 Austin Mini 1275 GT

Welcome to the sale of this stunning low mileage Austin Mini 1275 GT in beautiful factory Mustard Yellow with Beige Leather interior. This is a full nut and bolt rebuild to its original shell which was an incredibly solid car to begin with. Still retaining its original body and engine(rebuilt w/ new pistons, rockers & valves) and most of its all other original parts. This Mini still has all its original floors including sills and boot floor, most of this shell is original which is very rare to see now. Completely repainted top and bottom in its original color, the underside has been stone chipped then painted M yellow to give a factory finish. The paint has a fantastic shine, attention to detail on this Gt is second to none and the best I've seen. Still retaining its original wheel trims, currently running on brand new tires which ultimately give a fantastic level of grip. The engine has been fully rebuilt by Classic Mini Mechanic and so has the carb, fully set up on a rolling road to make sure it's running the best it can be. The GT drives really well, very responsive, and changes up and down gears with ease(but 2nd gear pops out going down hill). All suspension has been fully rebuilt which gives back a great feeling when driving the Mini, lovely and tight and stops on the drum brakes. I also have its original steering wheel but not the centre cap(it got lost at body shop when getting car restored, idiots) I also have the 1275gt decal that goes on the bottom bit of the car doors and panels. NO original rims BUT still looking to see if I can find on internet to restore. You take the car as is.

The interior is very clean, the seats, carpets and roof lining have been replaced as they were showing their age letting the inside down. The top/ bottom dash are original and all the other key parts of the interior are too(except for seats, inner door and back seat cards). I can put it back to its original black but with extra cost on top of what i'm asking for the car. £1,700 $2,400
