Offered here is a 1970 Volkswagen Type 2 Campervan presented in Cloud White over Savannah Beige with Light Sand and Khaki Brown Leatherette interior trim. Imported from California, USA to the UK in 2011, it was then subject to a full bodywork restoration and mechanical overhaul.

This example has been fitted with a 2.4 litre Chevrolet Corvair air-cooled six-cylinder engine, which provides the Volkswagen with more power and in turn makes it more useable on modern day roads. The Camper is very easy to drive, the 4-speed gearbox performs well and the ride is comfortable.

It was restored and painted in 2011, with picture evidence, however, some patina and blistering has started to show through. It appears just to be cosmetic and adds a certain charm to the vehicle. .
