Rarely does a car come along that causes such interest with the staff at Manor Park, but this one does. We understand that this was built in circa 1991 for its then owner to compete in the Mexican road race, La Carrera Panamericana, but due to later rule changes, this did not happen. Built on a tubular frame with all aluminium body work, the car really is something to behold. Well sorted, it is a delight to drive the exhaust note through the side pipes is joyous. Running on triple Webers, the engine is extremely torquey and gear changes are only necessary if spirited driving is required.
The iconic Jaguar C-Type aluminium body, a head turner in any given situation. This really is a piece of kit, finished in gleaming Ecurie Ecosse blue and the straight six sounds absolutely fabulous. Be sure not to miss this one especially at No Reserve.
