This 300d Cabriolet D is one of only 65 in total produced models in the time period from 1958 to 1962. In according to the Daimler-Benz production order was it with typical special equipment for state cars been ordered and delivered to Warsaw/ Poland in 1960. In times of the Cold War was this very unusual. There are existing photos, dated 1960 which shown the Polish Prime Minister at that time with probably this convertible. Unfortunately have we no information about the whereabouts in the following years. In the years 2004 and 2005 the car got completely restored at a specialized German company. The restoration work is documented with photos. Since that time part was the car part of a car collection and always well-kept. This is also the reason that the convertible is still in a very good technically and optically condition..
