This beautiful and eye-catching Ariel Arrow has been in the current ownership since 2018, during which time, we understand the motorcycle has undergone a total restoration to a very high standard.
The panel work and paint remain in lovely order and mechanically there are no known faults, the machine runs and rides very well.
In 2021, a mechanical overhaul was carried out, which included the removal and restoration of the petrol tank, the fitting of new main bearings, seals, battery and final drive train link etc, and a conversion to 12 volt electrics, at a cost of £975. New handlebars have also been fitted, together with new twin crankshafts and seals, new Suzuki pistons and cast piston rings and new alloy road wheels. The cylinders have been re-bored and the clutch rebuilt. In 2022, work included the installation of a new electronic ignition, spark plugs and a clutch cable, plus a carburettor repair.
The history file contains photographs, invoices, an RF60 continuation book from 1973 and the V5C registration certificate.
