• You either like them like this or you don’t; personally, I do. This series one has reputably been with the original family until circa 2018 when at this point a complete restoration of the moving parts and chassis, though special care being taken to preserve the original bodywork. Repairs to the underside have allowed the original chassis with its stamped number being retained. A new Radford galvanized bulkhead gives the whole vehicle perfect rigidity. All running gear and mechanical components have been restored to an extremely high standard and it runs like a Swiss watch. On the road it drives superbly well with direct steering and no vagueness often associated with these vehicles. Please take time to view this vehicle on our ramp, it is stunning. If it was me, I would leave the bodywork as is, they are only original once. One little anecdote; the Land Rover is supplied with a vacuum pump that was used to milk the cattle on the farm it lived on for over 60 years.
