1928 Standard Nine Falmouth, one of only four known to exist. Bought for restoration in 1999 from the Isle of Man. Two previous owners - one from 1928 to 1998. Well-known car to the Standard Motor Club. Restoration suspended a few years back due to other committments and now, I realise, that due to my age, I am not going to complete the re-assembly and I feel someone younger could easily finish the job and get pleasure out of using it. Details of work already done :- All fabric applied to the body in maroon and black,whole car has been stripped down to the last nut and bolt, ash frame professionally repaired where necessary, new brake linings and cables, new suspension pins and bushes front and rear, new radiator core, all brightwork re-nickelled, new front wings and bonnet made and sprayed 2-pack black, five road wheels blasted and powder-coated black, original rear wings blasted and sprayed black 2-pack, steering wheel re-coated in original material, engine stripped, newly white-metalled and ready for assembly.

Work outstanding:- Three new tyres wanted, two brand new ones supplied, three doors re-hung leaving the nsf  yet to be done, new maroon carpet provided, new laminated windscreen glass to be fitted, an exhaust need to be made, folding sunroof needs to be made from the original patter provided, wiring loom needs to be constructed, seats should still be serviceable and need installation. Body beading supplied with fixing studs. Much literature is with the car and photos and written details of its dismantling are included.

Is sitting on four slave wheels minus tyres at present  Obviously will want trailering away but would probably need an extra vehicle for the component parts. The car was totally complete and original when I purchased it. We are within TR4 postcode area.

Asking price is not negotiable bearing mind the prices of all parts bought and work done so far is very close to that asking price.
