Bentley Turbo 911 Hotrod

1971 Porsche 911T, into which has been fitted a 6.75-litre Bentley V8 engine, sourced from a Bentley Mulsanne Turbo.

Offered for sale in the upcoming Bonhams MPH 20th March Sale at Bicester Heritage.

Alexandre Danton has made a name for himself building hot rods out of European exotics and classics and the car offered here is an extraordinary example of his work. Paperwork accompanying the car suggests the original donor car was a 1971 Porsche 911T, into which has been fitted a 6.75-litre Bentley V8 engine, sourced from a Bentley Mulsanne Turbo. The special has double wishbone front suspension setup with coilover spring/dampers and a solid rear axle.

The Bentley engine is putting out more than 300 bhp, in a car weighing less than half the donor car. The interior is sparsely trimmed in a racing style, with aluminium bucket seats and minimalist instrumentation. Offered for sale on instruction of a high court ruling, only copy paperwork is offered with this car. Sold strictly as viewed.

Its simple to register to bid, all you need to do is fill in a form under the ‘Register to Bid’ section on https://www.bonhams.com/
