EXTERIOR
This exhilarating flagship VW Golf R32 is finished in desirable Deep Blue Pearl Effect, (Colour Code LB5R). A beautiful deep gloss shine and polished finish reflect the cars cossetted existence with just one owner and garaged storage from new. Close inspection reveals little more than light frontal stone chips and two chips to the original front screen. Supplying dealer branded number plates front and rear are fitted and the factory darkened rear light lenses, trim and all R32 logos are in fabulous condition. Wheel arch apertures, door and boot shuts are very clean, the latter having factory stickers still intact. Look no further for the ultimate modern classic performance car.

INTERIOR
Factory optional and very expensive Black full leather upholstery with R32 embossment, (Code YZ), to the ergonomically crafted König sports seats offer immense comfort and support and are beautifully clean with firm bolsters retaining correct shape. Unique R32 carpet mats remain fitted and are pristine and the entry R32 stainless sill cover has some small marks. The three spoke leather steering wheel and aluminium pedals with R32 logo and 4Motion gear knob are clues this no ordinary Golf. All equipment, controls and displays are in fine operation, including the ice-cold climate control and heated front seats. The brushed aluminium is unmarked along with the headlining and trim to the inner pillars. The boot area is pristine with the factory code sticker, factory compressor and tyre sealant still sealed in cellophane! In addition, a VW emergency kit is present and further stickers from the supplying dealer remain untouched.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Special features of this first incarnation Golf R32 are the V6 3.2litre engine, 20mm lowered sports suspension and 6-speed 4-Motion transmission with sophisticated all-wheel drive system. In addition, an array of electronic driver aids help to best exploit the awesome power of 240bhp and 320Nm of torque at just 2800rpm! A top speed of 153mph is quoted along with 0-62mph in just 6.6 seconds. Full VW main dealer history assures piece of mind. Unique 18-inch Aristo alloy wheels are immaculate and correct specification Michelin Pilot Sport 4 225/40 ZR18 tyres with ample tread are fitted to all four corners. A fully overhauled braking system features large bright blue callipers which are clearly visible through the spokes and hint towards the impressive stopping power. Traction and safety with advanced features such as ABS, EBD, ESP and ventilated discs front and rear are in perfect working order.

HISTORY FILE
The name R32 originates from ‘R’ for Race and ‘32’ in recognition of the 3.2 litre engine, and this one owner example has been truly cherished. Registered new on the 16th September 2003 by Main Dealer Listers VW of Stratford upon Avon, the car was registered to Mr Day who is the cars only owner from new. A copy of Autocar magazine in the history file from February 2003 reviewing the Golf R32 and garnishing much praise perhaps helped the decision to place an order? An amazing history file consists of full Volkswagen Main Dealer service history from the supplying dealer network and the file of paperwork begins with the original vehicle order form and sales invoice confirming the price new of £24,436.52. The huge folder of paperwork includes all point-of-sale documentation along with all main dealer servicing invoices to correspond with the 11 Volkswagen stamped entries across both the original and subsequent service books. Perusal of the paperwork in detail will consume some considerable time and will leave no doubt as to the fastidious and meticulous upkeep this car has enjoyed for its 20 years and 51,756 miles. Every single MOT certificate dating back to the first in 2006 is neatly filed. The most recent major service was carried out by supplying dealer, Listers VW of Stratford upon Avon, in July 2023 at 51,656 miles with supporting invoice. The Haldex oil service was carried out at Volkswagen in June 2022 at 51,570 miles. All handbooks, manuals and brochures and are included neatly filed in a blue A4 folder and the special leather R32 document wallet and both keys and dealer fobs are present.
