This sporting modern MG was in the care of the vendor’s late brother for nine years. From its MOT test history online, we assume that the odometer reading of 34938 miles is likely correct, and that the TF has been used infrequently, especially in the last few years. We understand that it has been dry stored in the current ownership.

In 2020, a new convertible hood assembly was fitted and in 2022, the head gasket, cambelt, tensioners and water pump were all replaced. Coolant pipes were renewed with stainless steel also at that time.

The condition of the MG now is described as generally good. The panel work is good, and the underside is tidy. The paintwork is good for its age but there are some small scratches to the off-side quarter panel and one chip to the near-side right arch. We note that the more unusual colour of dark blue suits the model well.

The two tone upholstery is very good (although the glove box lid is missing) and instrumentation is thought to be in working order. The vehicle drives very well with plenty of oomph, there are no known mechanical issues and a recent MOT test certificate.
