EXTERIOR

A deep glossy shine is evident throughout thanks to perfect storage and very low mileage credentials and close scrutiny will reveal nothing more than some tiny stone chips to the frontal area and marks to the driver door mirror surround. All glass is factory fitment Sigla items with the Ferrari logo and the rear plastic screen and Black soft top is in excellent condition with no damage. All Cavallino Rampante badges are fitted and the optional recessed Scuderia Ferrari wing shields look amazing. This is the perfect Ferrari in so many ways.

INTERIOR
Designed to maximise driving pleasure and safety the fully trimmed body-hugging seats finished in the finest Connolly Crema leather with Red piping, (Code 3997) are splendid. Minor creasing to the leather is a natural welcome sign with no wear and the Rossa carpets are spotless. The seats are fitted asymmetrically in the Ferrari 355 which results in the driver being slightly closer to the car's centerline than the passenger improving the driving feel and dynamics and all controls are ergonomically placed for maximum driver concentration. All switch gear operates perfectly and even the Ferrari plug-in torch is present in its rear holdall! All factory stickers are attached including the door shut tyre pressure sticker and colour code sticker in the rear. The front compartment is factory fresh with the tan leather case secured in place by a leather strap housing the original Ferrari tool kit, containing; Pliers, screwdrivers, spanners, spare bulbs and fan-belt. In another pouch is a tyre repair canister in lieu of a spare wheel and jack. The matching Crema tonneau cover is included for the full Ferrari open top experience.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The transverse 3496cc naturally aspirated V8 engine delivers 375bhp and is an outstanding performer able to rev up to 8500rpm with five valves per cylinder and the later M5.2. Motronic Engine Management System. At 109bhp/litre this engine developed the highest specific power of any naturally aspirated engine and even adopts Ti6a14v titanium alloy conrods previously only seen on F1 cars. Full annual Ferrari main Dealer service history allows a top speed of 180mph and 0.60mph in 4.7 secs to be enjoyed confidently. Ferrari claim the F1 –type power train management is the most effective solution for high performance road cars even allowing rapid gear changing without releasing the accelerator while keeping both hands on the wheel or engaging full auto comfort mode.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Sculptured classic 18inch wheels with magnesium rims have no damage and are shod in correct premium Pirelli P Zero 225/40 ZR18 front and 265/40 ZR18 rear tyres with excellent uniform tread depth and all within date. Large 300mm front and 310mm rear ventilated discs with 4-cylinder Nero coloured aluminium brake calipers provide powerful and progressive action with Bosch ABS.

HISTORY FILE
This UK RHD Ferrari 355 Spider was registered on the 24th May 1999 by Ferarri Main Dealers, Stratstone of Wilmslow to its private owner Mr James Sherry. Built very late in the six-year production run and so benefitting from all those years of development the new owner will also benefit from complete, full Ferrari Main Dealer Service History. This example has, with the exception of only two years in its 23 year lifespan, been back to Official Ferrari Dealers every year for professional upkeep and servicing. The first visit in May 2000 to the supplying dealer followed by Lancaster Ferrari subsequently with the last visit being in July 2021 for a service and MOT at 14,781 miles. The vehicle has now covered just 15,019 warranted miles and all cambelt and servicing is within the recommended time schedule.

Complete with a full complement of handbooks including the original service book and warranty card, extended warranty Power booklet and 355 F1 Owners manual.
