Believed to be one of two cars kept back at the end of production in case there was a major warranty claim from japan, that would be most easily solved by supplying a new car. Reportedly kept on Cyprus and duly returned to the UK after two years where they were registered as new vehicles and then purchased by an ex Rover employee.

The MG has been well cared for by the vendor, sparing no expense on the vehicle, such as a new hood, tonneau cover and new power steering unit. The vehicle has been well used and loved over the past 17 years spending the winter months in dry storage and passing its past 7 MOT tests without any advisories. Having driven the RV8 ourselves we can report that the 3.9 fuel injected V8 provides plenty torque and sounds absolutely magnificent, the driving experience is enhanced by the power steering, which is a pleasure at low speeds. The MG is ready to be used and cherished for plenty more top down motoring miles.
