1995 Renault Clio RT MK1 1.4

READY TO DRIVE - Renault Clio RT MK1 1.4 3dr 1390 CC – Champs-Elysees

For sale a rare example of a classic collectors car in excellent condition throughout with only 37,000 miles on the clock. 27 years old and still in full working order, this is a rare opportunity to purchase such a model, and one that can only go up in value. 

The car has been registered off-road (SORN) since October last year, and passed an MOT in July – with no advisories. The bodywork is in excellent condition with only a few spots of rust (pictured), the engine is faultless and she is a pleasure to drive. The car has not been tampered with, repainted, or been in any accidents.

3dr 1390 CC – Champs-Elysees

The car has been in the family since 2016 (and so passed between my brother, my mum, and myself) but not counting this, it’s had 2 owners since it was registered in 1995. The previous lady owner bought the car in 1997 from Renault Ezra Sugden and owned it until 2014. She took it to be serviced and MOT’ed at the same garage (Lambs Garage Chesterfield) each year, and preserved the car to an impeccable standard. I have the full service history and related documentation, as well as the car service logbook (with over 12 services stamped to date with milage count), and including proof of a recent timing belt replacement (in July 2020). This major service also included a new exhaust system (pipe, box, and catalytic converter), and cylinder head gasket. There are 16 old passed MOT certificates with no advisories, solid proof that the car was maintained well, treated with love and care, and is still as reliable today as it was then. Going from the paperwork, the lady owner did about 300 miles per year and had a full annual service to boot! I am happy to include all this documentation in the sale, as well as the original TAX discs from Ezra Sugden, Worksop, Nottingham. I also have an original HAINES manual for the Renault Clio RT Mk 1 that I am happy to include.

I love driving this car and I’m sad to have to part ways with it, but I am selling due to a change in personal circumstances and would like to see her go to a good home. The interior in comfortable, with unique blue furnishings, and includes: intact parcel shelf, an analogue clock, original radio and working tape player, fulling working electric windows and manual sunroof with blinds. All the electrics/lights are in perfect working order and both windscreen wiper blades were recently replaced.
