Nothing embodies the late 1980s more than a white BMW convertible with a six-cylinder engine. In the 80s, BMW was the brand that the that the UK aspired to and the introduction of the 3 series convertible set the market alight. The E30 range was already desirable, yuppies (remember them?) were queuing at BMW showrooms, waiting lists were long and the convertible was the icing on the cake. It was handsome and elegant whether the roof was up or down, it was practical, seating for four full size people, a boot that would take the luggage of those people, the hood disappeared into its own covered space, it wasn’t too big nor too small and drove better than anything else in its class. All those things remain true today.

This Alpine white 320i convertible with manual transmission was supplied new to its only owner by Derek Woodman BMW of Blackpool in March 1989. A desirable chrome bumper car specified with Indigo blue leather, Navy blue manually operated hood, sports seats, an elegant sport steering wheel, a BMW rear spoiler also in Alpine white, factory alloy wheels and a period Alpine stereo, oh and pinstripes, it was the 80s!

Now 36 years old this beautiful BMW has covered just under 34,000 miles. Garaged all of its life and complete with original toolkit, BMW service wallet, glove box torch etc. In outstanding condition, just showing some minor wear on the roof seams but certainly no holes or tears, the paintwork is exceptional. Just MOT`d after a few years off the road and recently serviced.
