Not very often does a vehicle come to the market with such a fabulous back story. Supplied new 12th July 1988 by VW Main agents, North Street Motors of Stow-on-the-Wold to Lady Agnes Humphrey who was the widow of Sir Andrew Humphrey who was Chief of the Defence Staff before his death in 1977.

The service book on file evidences that the VW was serviced every year by North Street Motors up until 2014 at 118367 miles. The next service was carried out by Walker motors VW specialists at 118904 in 2018, then a service in February 2021 by Autopoint in Knutsford, Cheshire at a cost of £538.70 along with two new front tyres. The VW performs very well on the road and belies its age in respect to handling and drivability. A superb more modern classic that just needs a Duran Duran cassette to take you back to the 1980s.
