Here we have a very tidy example of the popular MGB Roadster, which are always great fun and an even better way to get into the pleasures of classic car ownership at a reasonable cost. This example is very clean and sits well on its Rostyle wheels with chrome embellishers.
The soft top is in good condition and there is a tonneau cover in the boot.
The overdrive function appears to work, and the interior is very tidy and boasts upgraded black leather seats with green piping which matches the exterior very nicely. The aerial is electric.
The engine sounds very sweet and the V5 and HPi report are showing the engine capacity as 1950cc (standard trim would be 1796cc) indicating that the engine has had work. The engine bay is clean - the radiator appears to have been upgraded to a larger type. There is a dyno sheet in the file showing an output of 114 bhp - another indication that the engine has had work and a useful uplift on the standard 95 bhp as standard.
The V5 is also showing that the first registration date is the 21/11/1991 indicating that the MG may have spent its initial years abroad.
Overall, a great looking classic which comes with the benefit of a current MOT, notwithstanding it is MOT and tax exempt. The MG represents a good opportunity to get yourself into the world of classic cars or to just have an MGB in your collection.
