Offered here is a superb 1972 MG B Roadster presented in Bronze Yellow and originally supplied to the USA in LHD form. It returned to the UK in 1989 and converted to RHD. It is believed that the MG still retains all its original body panels. This eye-catching ‘B’ has been tastefully set up to fast road specification, including Weber 45 DCOE 152 carburettor, uprated disc brakes, and suspension / coilovers, Magnesium knock-on Minilite-style wheels, and de-bumpered with a Sebring-style look. Since its importation into the UK, it has had just two keepers, the first owner kept this MG from 1989 until 2021 when our vendor took over stewardship.

Not only does this MG look fantastic, but the induction noise from the K&N air filter and the rumble from the stainless steel exhaust sound equally as good. The MG bursts into life with a swift turn of the key, and you can instantly tell that the 1800cc engine wants to go. Superb fun to drive, but also very usable, perfect for flicking through the gears on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Inside are a pair of “as new” black seats, the steering has evidently been restored at some point as again, that is “as new”. The dashboard also appears to be unmarked. The hood is free from any obvious rips or tears and is fully operational. This truly is a very special example and deserves to be cherished and loved with the care and attention its previous owners have given it.
