Always a pleasure to deal with a MK1 escort and especially when it is so original as this. Great to see an 1100 base model that has not been messed about with or altered from its original specification.

Every town was literally full of these cars in the 70s and 80s and they were the staple diet for a family car.

On the road, the Escort performs very well indeed and really does surprise in that is a design that is now 53 years old. On the button and ready to go.
