The beauty of a classic Mini is that you can personalise them to your own taste, and this is clearly something that the now deceased owner has done with this example.

Declared manufactured in 1971, we suggest that this Mini has had a possible re-shell from a later car, and has a number of desirable upgrades including the fitting of a 1293cc engine as informed by the owner’s representative. The engine capacity is showing on the v5 as 850cc.

Other upgrades include the fitting of 12 inch Minilite style alloys, spots, a later Mini Sprite interior, 1275 GT clocks, John Cooper bonnet stripes and Cooper badging, and a full respray in a more modern Tahiti blue colour.

Unfortunately, we don’t have much documentation with the Mini – just some previous MOT certificates and some DVLA tax documentation.

The Mini is generally tidy, although the exterior paint has some bubbling under the headlights and on the rear quarters. The interior is clean and tidy.

Overall, a usable and attractive classic Mini and great starter classic offered at no reserve.
