p>Approximately 2,000 Morris Minor 1000 Travellers were supplied by the British Motor Corporation to the Ministry of Defence, with the British Army being the primary recipient. These vehicles served in a variety of non-combat roles, with a smaller number also used by the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. Most were delivered between 1966 and 1970.

Offered here is a rare and historically significant example—an ex-military 1969 Morris Minor Traveller. Originally commissioned for army service, this vehicle retains its original military identity markings under the bonnet: 40 FJ 41, supported by accompanying correspondence from the Army Transport Division confirming its provenance.

Currently showing 67,000 miles—believed to be genuine—this Traveller has been part of the military enthusiast scene and has been lovingly owned since 1998. Its long-term owner ensured it remained cherished, and it’s now ready to begin a new chapter with a like-minded enthusiast.

While the car has seen limited use in recent years and has been in storage, it starts and runs well. However, light recommissioning will be required—particularly attention to the brakes and other standard items after a period off the road. The paintwork shows signs of age, adding a charming patina, and the main wood structure remains in very good condition.
