- Great condition inside and out
- Attractive colour combination
- Previously restored
- Running a 1380cc engine as informed by the vendor
Finished in Snowberry White with a black roof and black interior, this rare Mk2 Cooper is in great condition throughout.
Originally registered in Northern Ireland, we believe the Mini has had a full restoration at some point in time, although we are unaware of when this was, and what work was undertaken. It may well be that the colour was changed from beige to white when the restoration was undertaken as the colour is showing on the V5 and HPi report as beige.
The mileage is showing at 67k miles, which we think is correct given the latest collection of MOT certificates, although MOT certificates from the 90s indicate a higher mileage covered.
The exterior is very tidy with minimal signs of use and age – as is the interior. The front seats are after market bucket seats, whilst the rear seats are of the original style and in good condition, as are the door cards and headlining. There is a sports steering wheel looks great as does the 100mph speedo binnacle.
Additional upgrades include Minilite style alloys shod in matching Falken tyres, gear knob extender, larger bore exhaust and upgraded front brakes.
The engine bay is very tidy and we understand that the engine is now a 1380cc unit running a single carb, rather than the original 998cc twin carb unit – although we have no paperwork to back this up.
Whilst documentation is lacking from the Mini’s early life, the aforementioned MOT certificates from are present plus some DVLA correspondence, the buff log book and the latest V5C.
The Mini performed very well for our video - it seemed responsive and well sorted.
Overall a super example that has been restored previously to an excellent standard. Don’t miss out on what is a rare Mk2 Cooper!
