1969 MGC GT

Built in 1969, this smashing MGC was first registered on 4th February 1970, and has been in the same ownership for the last ten years.  The car has been extensively restored in recent years, with new body parts including sills and rear wings.  In 2013, the gearbox and overdrive unit were overhauled and an unleaded head was fitted.  The condition of the paintwork is excellent, as is the interior, which we undestand was renovated by the most recent owner, including the re-upholstery of the seats with the addition of head rests, and new head lining.  The door cards are first class and the carpets are good.  The car is extremely neat and tidy underneath and it is obvious that the car has been very well cared for.  It sports wire wheels with brand new tyres all round, 12v battery system, stainless steel exhaust and high torque starter motor.  The car starts instantly and soon warms up to a nice, steady tick-over.  The steering is nice and light and the engine is excellent, resulting in a very quick example - a real delight to drive.  Lots of paperwork comes with the car, including photograph album, old MOTs, invoices, Heritage Certificate, handbook and V5C.  MOT to September 2021.
