We are very pleased to offer this very charming Daimler 250 V8 finished in Old English White with red leather interior. The Saloon has been very well looked after it would appear, and judging by the paperwork it has had a lot of money spent on it over the years. It comes with a photo album from 2021 showing how in depth the restoration it had was - a nice thing to have with your classic Daimler. It was first registered on 15/1/1970 which makes it one of the last registered. The 250 was produced from 1962 to 1969 using the Jaguar MK2 body with the Edward Turner 2548cc engine from the Daimler SP250 Dart. They were much rarer than the Jaguar MK2 and there cannot be many left on UK roads now.

The paperwork is quite impressive, and accompanying the aforementioned photo album there are a lot of invoices and receipts, newspaper cuttings from the time, details of when the Daimler has changed hands and old MOTs which sit well with the current MOT which, whilst not required, is valid until October 2024. This should give you confidence that the V8 has been well cared for whilst in its current ownership since 2018, although it is being sold very reluctantly.

The appearance is very impressive, looking very resplendent in white its red leather interior; the chrome is very good, the wheel trims are correct and finished off nicely with white wall tyres; the headlining is in good condition and very smart; and the interior is finished off with a period-style retro radio, again showing the attention to detail that this Daimler has enjoyed.
