1968 MG CGT

A very good example of this iconic MG, in totally original specification including metallic Riviera Silver Blue paintwork, black interior with blue piping to the seats, wire wheels, overdrive, and heater, all as per the Heritage Certificate.  The car has its original engine, so is a matching numbers car.  It has had only 4 previous owners and we believe that the mileage of 65,000 is correct according to a detailed history of the car which is included in the history file.  It was extensively and professionally restored a number of years ago, including body work, mechanics and engine, and there are lots of invoices in the file, along with a photographic record.  The car remains in very good condition, very sound, with good sills, wings and underside.  The paintwork is good and the correct colour with just a few blemishes.  The engine bay is tidy but could be slightly improved.  Good tyres, and sound wire wheels.  The car starts and drives well, with good oil pressure and benefitting from working overdrive.  This is a great opportunity to purchase and MGC with a good history and one that won’t break the bank.  Comes with original handbook, MOT to 26/5/23 (no advisories) and current V5C.
