1968 Fiat 500 Vignale Gamine - rare right hand drive

The Fiat 500 has become a true icon in all its forms, having enjoyed a long and illustrious production run of 18 years (the 500 Estate was to continue until 1977).

Characterful and quirky, the Gamine model - a tiny two seat roadster - was produced in small numbers and was frequently seen in such places as San Tropez and London’s Kings Road, as they were popular with the ‘trendy set’ at the time.

Right hand drive versions would appear to be rare and this example was first registered in London in December 1968.

Having resided on the Isle of Wight for some time, this car has been the subject of major restoration and is of very smart appearance in a pleasing shade of Primrose. The interior trim is in black vinyl and the hood and side screens are in first class order.

Certainly not for the shy and retiring type, this charming little car is certain to attract much interest and many smiles along the way.
