1966 MGB Roadster

An early MGB Roadster, first registered in March 1966, and as you can see, in need of full restoration.  The car has been off the road for many years - the last invoice in the file is dated 1994.  It looks to be generally fairly sound, so we don’t think it needs a shell.  This is a running and driving car, the engine sounds good and has good oil pressure, and the brakes work.  It is an overdrive model, and luckily, it still retains its disc wheels – now very rare.  The bonnet is aluminium.  The interior and hood are original, but rough.  The photographs say it all, so please have a good look – and no, you can’t drive it home and it won’t pass an MOT.  Comes with modern V5C, old V5 and a few old receipts and MOTs.  The current V5C states 5 former keepers.  These early MGBs are becoming difficult to find, particularly if you are looking for a restoration project – so don’t delay!
