This is a really nice MGA Roadster, in what has to be one of the best colours, in very good condition throughout.  We understand that the car was repatriated from South Africa (so, always RHD) in 1976, and was extensively restored over a long period of time by a professional engineer.  The renovation works included a full strip down, overhaul of the mechanics, repaint and engine rebuild by Westwood Portway.  It was then dry stored for a number of years.  Now back on the road and running very well, with the advantage of a 5-speed gearbox.  Recent works have included fitting of a stainless steel exhaust, new battery, bespoke hood and tonneau, together with reupholstered side screens, all by Bob West.  Excellent matching tyres on painted spoked wheels, including spoked spare.  Nicely detailed under the bonnet, carpeted boot and correct side screen bag, and nicely aged black leather seats with red piping.  The underside of the car is nice and clean and tidy.  The car starts easily, has good oil pressure and performs well, with good brakes and with the benefit of that nice 5-speed gearbox, which transforms the car.  The hood and side screens all fit very well and are easy to erect.  Comes with V5C.
