1957 Citroen 2CV Van

We are delighted to offer for sale this charming little French van - left-hand drive.  Although a little scruffy on the outside at the moment, it is in pretty good order and needs only light restoration, if any.  It starts, runs and drives well and the main structure of the van is very good - it was fitted with a new galvanised chassis in 2011.  It has the 425cc engine which appears to run well and we understand that this churns out a magnificent 21 BHP.  The under-bonnet area is very clean and presentable, as is the engine.  Recently the car has been thoroughly cleaned underneath, the brakes were overhauled and new clutch and new engine mountings were fitted.  Engine oil and gearbox oil were changed and a new 6v regulator was fitted - obviously the car is back on its 6v system.  Good, original seats.  This is an incredibly high spec vehicle as you can see .. even including headlamps adjustable from the cockpit!   All in all, very original and great fun - not many of these early vans survive.  Great for advertising, shows, or just to run about in - you can even get the dogs in the back.  Comes with V5C and some paperwork including old invoices.
