First registered on 25^th March 1954, this lovely old TF was initially exported to Tanzania in East Africa, where it resided until 1967 until it was repatriated to the UK, where it has remained.

It has had only four owners from new, and there is a large history file to support this, along with a Heritage Certificate, old green log books and lots of invoices.

It has just been MOTd and is in excellent working order.  Over £2000 was spent in 2020 on work to the engine which is now unleaded. 

The car looks very attractive in its MG red, with red interior, and its original leather seats.  The canvas hood and side screens are all in great condition.  The bodywork is in excellent condition, no doubt helped by having spent its early life in the warmth of Africa.  The panels all fit well, including the doors which shut properly. 

This TF is a pleasure to drive with good, strong engine, correct oil pressure and a marvellous 5-speed gearbox, which greatly improves the useability of the car.  The underside is good and clean and sound, there is a stainless steel exhaust and five fairly new matching tyres on sound wire wheels.

Excellent value for money, this is a car ready for regular use.
