1949 MG YA

Very, very nice indeed, this restored MGYA , which has had only five owners since 1955 (possibly no more than that before this date), is resplendent in its red and Old English White coachwork, with excellent beige interior.  The car has been in the same ownership for the last 10 years and is reluctanly offered for sale for genuine reasons.  The car is the subject of an older restoration and there is a file of invoices referring to work carried out, which included restoration of the bodywork and interior, restoration of mechanics, and a re-wire - it is all now in very good condition throughout, having been well maintained ever since.  The leather seats would appear to be original, whilst the headlining, door cards and carpets have all been replaced/restored.  The car also has its original rear window blind and working interior light.  There is a sliding steel sunroof, opening front window and even a radio!  Indicator lights have been fitted for safety.  Mechanically, the car appears to be excellent with good, strong engine - which was rebuilt in 2005.  The car starts easily, runs well with good tick-over and performs as it should.  The underside appears to be structurally good and is clean and tidy.  New tyres were fitted on the good disc wheels in 2015, still with original hub caps.  The chromework is also good.  There is a large stack of paperwork with invoices, old MOTs, workshop manual and handbook, V5C.  We are sure you will love this one, so don't miss it - very reasonably priced at £11,950.
