You either like them in this condition or you don’t. We love an oily rag car and the following for these is rapidly growing with many events and runs to cater for such cars.

This delightful little Morris was registered 29th March 1936 to Mr Nathaniel Hall of Widford Essex as evidenced by the Essex County council registration records of the time. It would appear that Mr Hall owned the car until 1965 when it entered the renowned Sharpe collection where it remained until 2005 when the collection was sold in its entirety at auction.

Whilst in its current ownership, it has been recommissioned and regularly used throughout the summer months. The original bodywork is waxed to prevent and further rusting. One the road it performs very well with good brakes and a very willing engine and smooth gearbox, often covering over 100 miles on a run.

We can only hope who buys this will continue with its conservation and preserve this time warp example.
