A smashing little Opal which is very nice to drive, this car was originally supplied by J Motors Limited of Bromley in Kent, and still retains the supplier’s plaque on the dashboard.  It was restored many years ago, and has been well maintained ever since.  The paintwork is good with a few of the usual age-related blemishes, the interior is nice with correct leather seats, and the canvas hood and side screens are in good condition apart from a very small hole in the hood – these are easy to erect and lower and stow away neatly in the hood cover.  The underside of the car is very clean and tidy and the mechanics are strong with a lively engine – all nice and quiet.  Good gearbox and the benefit of hydraulic brakes. The car even has a temperature gauge fitted.  Good oil pressure, and even the fuel gauge appears to work.  Correct rubber running boards.  These are lovely cars to sit in, and there is good storage space behind the seats and into the boot.  Whilst this is a delightful little Opal, there is still room for a little minor improvement.  Regrettable and genuine reason for sale.  Comes with current V5C, lots of old MOTs certificates etc.
