An excellent, restored example, just needing a few jobs finishing.  The car was originally restored in 2011 including full body strip-down and repaint, in probably the best colour combination of black over blue.  At that time, the chassis and running gear was repainted and refurbished as necessary.  Then in 2019, the engine had a complete rebuild by a well-respected firm of engineers at a cost of some £3,284 – so a very thorough job.  The car drives well with obviously, a very good engine, and good gearbox, back axle, brakes and steering.  The paintwork remains in excellent condition apart from a little mishap to both back wings which will need to be sorted out.  The chrome work is good, the doors fit well, and there are working semaphores.  As we have said, there are a few jobs to finish, hence the price – these include renewing the headlining (fabric supplied) and some work to the sunroof sliding head.  This is a lovely old car, just waiting to be finished off – not a big job.  Comes with history file, continuation book from 1959, V5C, handbook and two photograph albums detailing the rebuild.
