This smashing litttle Austin has just arrived, and we are able to offer it for sale at a very advantageous price.  It is in generally good condition but could benefit from some improvement and a little care and attention.  Having said that, it starts immediately, the engine - which we think is from 1926 - runs very well and the car drives just as you would expect from this cheeky little 'Chummy'.  The structure of the bodywork is very good and the doors fit well, the paintwork is getting on now and it certainly has a lovely patina.  The interior is pretty good as you can see from the photographs, although it could maybe do with some new mats or carpets, if you choose.  The hood and side screens are all very good indeed, and the wheels and tyres are fine.  We think this car was restored and probably had a new body in the 1980s.  Its history includes a charity run around the whole of the British Isles in 1991, covering 3,000 miles in 9 days, and travelling at an average speed of 30mph.  Apparently, 45mpg was achieved and £2,500 was raised for Cancer Research and Children in Need.
