1927 Alvis 12/50 TG Sports Saloon

A very original example of this delightful vintage sporting saloon

This Alvis retains her original coachwork and would appear to be to the same specification as recorded on the original car record showing it to have been despatched from the works on the 8th December 1927 to main agent Henlys Limited of London. She is bristling with charming period features such as the perfume bottles and Bakelite ashtray and the obligatory smokers hatch in the roof. The ‘V’ windscreen is a particularly attractive of these quality vintage saloons.

The body is finished in black and maroon and her interior is in red hide and remains in excellent condition.

In the present ownership for the past 16 years, this Alvis has been used regularly and well maintained, proving reliable and has enjoyed several touring trips to France.

There is a copy of the correct Instruction Book, plus various bills for work undertaken. Also supplied are volumes 1 and 2 of the The Vintage Alvis Manual.
