This car is great fun, it drives nicely, with good easy to use gearbox, sound back axle, and good brakes.This is a nice, early AD Tourer, first registered on 24th March 1926, fully restored many years ago, and well maintained ever since – documents suggest that the car has had only three owners – not bad for a car that is 96 years old! Excellent, renovated body work, well-fitting doors, wings and bonnet (3-piece). The car is still clean and tidy underneath, and the upholstery is sound. The hood, which as you can see, is not totally correct for this model, is a little worn. Original magneto engine, and 3-speed crash gearbox. Nice, original dashboard dials etc. The paintwork is good and shiny, with just a few little chips – not a concours car by any means, but one that is full of charm and character, and just waiting for the next owner. History file includes very detailed invoices and photos of the restoration, continuation log book from 1963, V5 from 1997 and current V5C. Ideal for this year’s Austin Centenary celebrations.
